We are actively looking for a Project Architect to join our award-winning Interior Design and Architecture studio based in Weybridge.

Hill House Interiors' Directors, Helen & Jenny, are supported by a 30+ strong team of passionate and dynamic designers, architects, and interior architects as well as a fun and hardworking support team.

Job Title:

Architect Work pattern:
Full Time, 37.5 hours a week

Working Hours:
9.00am-5.30pmOur ideal candidate would be/possess: Degree in Architecture essential.
ARB / RIBA Registered.
Demonstrable experience in luxury residential design.
Full proficiency in AutoCad. Adobe Suite and 3D Modelling is a plusIndependent attitude, can hit the ground running.
Experience, energy & enthusiasm in project monitoring through all RIBA stages.
A strong technical understanding of construction methods, drawings and detailing. A strong technical understanding of the Interior Architecture detailing.
Financial understanding of project costs and budget awareness.
Ability work from concept to completion on your own or as part of a team.
Ability to lead architectural projects with the backup of Directors.
Natural ability for problem solving, thinking on your feet but being commercially minded. Solid on-site and construction phase experience.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Positive outlook and a great work ethic.

Capable of working in a pressured environment with the ability to work to deadlinesStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Must have client facing experience and be able to explain complex details in an understandable way.
A full driving licence for site visits is a must.

To work as part of a team on both UK and international projects from concept through to completion across all RIBA stagesConfident in working on multiple projects concurrently.

The ability to understand and work to prescribed or suggested project budgets Create full tender and construction drawing packagesOversee contractor tenders, contractor selection, contract administration, project valuation and quality control on siteCoordination of subcontractors and consultants throughout the design and construction phasesCreate interior architecture drawing packages of Plans, Elevations, Sections, Small Power, Lighting, RCP's, Floor and Walls finishes.

To include drawings of features, bespoke installations, and all other internal elements like staircases, ceiling coffers, wall panelling and alike for construction.

Create joinery drawing packages for design intent, client presentation and tender.
Create detailed bathroom drawings, tile setting out and specification of all sanitaryware, cabinetry, brassware, and accessories for construction.

Create schedules for the above-mentioned designs and drawingsThe ability to confidently lead client and contractor / consultant meetings within the studio or on siteKeeping up to date with new developments and design trends in the design industryAbout the company:Specialising in high-end residential design we offer clients a full range of services from Turnkey house construction to single FF&E items purchased in our shop.

Multidisciplinary Design Studio with Interior Designers, Interior Architects and Architects in an open plan office space, with multiple meeting, design and sample rooms including client and staff entertaining lounge.

Expect to work closely with the Directors of the company who are involved in every aspect the studio's day-to-day running and all projects.

Enhanced holiday allowance, 23 days, 3 of which are to be used for the Christmas closure.
