We are offering a set number of places for our National Teaching Assistant programme in Summer 2024.

About the role:


You will receive training and support and in the final stage be offered a 5 day placement working within a school in Brighton.

Once you have completed the placement we will be able to offer you either day to day, short term or long term Teaching Assistant work.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has always wanted to work as a Teaching Assistant but never had the hands on experience of working within a school.

Requirements:

To be considered for the role of Trainee Teaching Assistant you will:

  • To be able to work in either Nursery, Primary, Secondary or SEND
  • Have a passion for supporting and helping children
  • Be willing to pay for an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service.
  • Be committed to completing the required training and participating in ongoing CPD.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.

The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential
