Duties:
- Summarizing medical records accurately and efficiently.
- Assigning appropriate ICD10 and CPT codes to diagnoses and procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and regulations.
- Collaborating with healthcare providers to clarify documentation as needed.
- Reviewing patient encounters to ensure completeness and accuracy of coding.
- Participating in coding audits and quality improvement initiatives.
Rate:
Up to £15 per hour
Requirements:
- Previous experience in clinical coding, preferably in a primary care setting.
- Proficiency in using Emis or similar clinical coding software.
- Knowledge of ICD10 and CPT coding systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a minimum of 3 days per week.
