Contract:

Duties:

  • Summarizing medical records accurately and efficiently.
  • Assigning appropriate ICD10 and CPT codes to diagnoses and procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and regulations.
  • Collaborating with healthcare providers to clarify documentation as needed.
  • Reviewing patient encounters to ensure completeness and accuracy of coding.
  • Participating in coding audits and quality improvement initiatives.

Rate:
Up to £15 per hour

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in clinical coding, preferably in a primary care setting.
  • Proficiency in using Emis or similar clinical coding software.
  • Knowledge of ICD10 and CPT coding systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a minimum of 3 days per week.
