Summary of Role


As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading, motivating and supporting teams of employment coaches You will ensure that staff integrate into multi-disciplinary teams and work together to provide regular, high-quality support to participants.


Role and Responsibilities

  • Weekly Caseload reviews with all Employment coaches to manage and track performance
  • Weekly team performance updates to Ops Manager on Work ready PP, Job starts, Pending job starts etc and forecasting ahead for remaining weeks in the month.
  • Monthly 121s with all Employment Coaches to manage performance, compliance and targets
  • Monthly observations for all Employment Coaches - documented and recorded to Jobs22. Highlighting any training requirements or concerns
  • Compliance monitoring to ensure we are hitting our contractual obligations
  • Managing team absence ensuring we have resource and availability to meet our contractual start targets - this will include adding absences and completing back to work forms whilst maintaining contact with the Ops manager
  • Regular refresh and training sessions with all Employment Coaches when development needs or skills gaps are highlighted
  • Manage the induction of all new staff
  • Handle daily queries within the team to support all Employment Coaches
  • Regular face-to-face contact within local Job Centres - reporting back any concerns to Ops Manager
  • Ensuring all staff produce Good News Stories, and are submitted on time with pictures to support
  • Support with interviews for potential new Employment Coaches during recruitment

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Knowledge_:
  • Knowledge of the Restart contract and the contractual obligations to our Prime Provider in respect of: Job Outcomes, Compliance and Quality
  • Skills_:
  • Proven leadership skills
- excellent interpersonal skills, a solution focussed approach, target driven
and highly organised
- good administration, IT and organisational skills with good experience of
using MS office software (especially Excel)
- effective and clear communicator with excellent negotiation and
presentation skills

  • Experience_:
  • Experience in leading and supporting customer focused teams
  • Experience in working in the employment and skills sector and delivering
to specified targets, quality standards and compliance measures is
essential

relationships with partners and stakeholders.

  • Experience in providing onetoone support or coaching and positively
influencing other people's professional or personal development

  • Experience in working in the employment and skills sector and delivering
