About the role:

They have an excellent team of Ecologists throughout the country, and are now looking to bring someone into a more specialised role to help drive the delivery of BNG services to clients, including surveys, assessments and advice.

As well as being responsible for the delivery of BNG work, you'll also be involved in the quality control aspect of these services, and upskilling and training teams.

This role can be WFH from anywhere in England or Wales (or hybrid if you're in the North West), with travel to sites as required.

About you:

Interested? We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • 5+ years UK Ecology experience with a broad range of habitat and protected species experience
  • CIEEM or RSB membership, FISC Level 4 (desirable)
  • Deep understanding of BNG and confidence using UK Habs
  • Ability to produce BNG assessments and on site / off site management plans
  • Ability to author EPS licencing, HRA and ES chapters (desirable)
  • Experience mentoring junior staff
  • Excellent attention to detail, organised and skilled at prioritising time, confidence to challenge the status quo & ability to get stuck in to challenging projects
