Job summary

House Keeper Band 2 - up to hrs available - WCH

Ward 7 is a 12 bedded medical ward who care for patients with gastroenterology/respiratory illness and disease such as chronic COPD, acute asthma, hepatology, dermatology and rheumatology patients.

Ward 7 are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and committed House Keeper to join our friendly team at the West Cumberland Hospital.

Main duties of the job

The job involves serving all meals, ensuring hand hygiene to patients has been completed and to offer and serve drinks to patients.

Following meal times you will keep nursing staff updated about patients dietary intake and complete food diaries.

The role also involves keeping the kitchen clean according to trust guidelines and stock control of kitchen supplies.

The role includes providing assistance as requested to patients and other staff working in the department.
