We are looking for an individual who is passionate about cooking to join our Catering team at LittleInch Ltd which provides a full range of catering services to residents, staff, and day-care service users.
Hours of Work:
37.5 with additional hours when required. Hourly rate depends on experience
Summary:
Working as part of the Catering Team, you will play an important role in the delivery of a full range of catering services.
Main Duties:
Reporting to the Chef, you're duties will include but not limited to:
- Preparing 'food' to a high standard in accordance with LittleInch requirements and in line with food safety standards
- Have good knowledge of HACCP, COSSH & Allergen Policies
- Assisting Elderly and vulnerable residents.
- Provision of a friendly and efficient food service to customers
- Stock replenishment as required
- Be creative for functions and events
- Cleaning both basic and deep cleaning
- Adherence to food safety legislation
- Undertake Training as required to ensure compliance with Health and Safety and Food Safety legislation
- Any other duties as deemed reasonable and necessary by your line manager.
Skills and Attributes:
- Previous experience of working as a cook is essential
- Food hygiene Certificate Level
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment
- Willingness to undertake training and development in line with department requirements and in line with Food Safety legislation
- Excellent communication skills
