The Governing Body is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic part time Teaching Assistant to join their team, to work 5 days a week.

8.45am

  • 3:15pm


The main purpose of the post is to work under the direct supervision of teaching staff to provide one to one classroom and intervention support for one of our pupils in Year 5.

This will include support with their academic, personal and social needs.


Please note this appointment is linked to a specific pupil with EHCP therefore if/when the pupil leaves the post will become redundant.


You will need to:

  • Be an enthusiastic and caring person and possibly have had experience of working with a child with special needs/ disability.
  • Be able to support children in their learning and achievement
  • Have a GCSE in English and Maths with grade 4 or above.
  • Have a NVQ Level 1 / 2 or equivalent qualification in Child Care Education
  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have a professional and mature attitude.
  • Be self
- motivated.

  • Have the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
