Currently, we are seeking a dynamic Senior Planning Engineer to join our Water Management team to support various flood defense projects in the UK.

Joining our Programme and Project Management team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to major, iconic projects alongside top-tier talent.

This role is part of our Resilience Global Business Area, where we focus on safeguarding our natural environment, water resources, and fueling a sustainable future for generations to come.


  • Lead top-down strategic planning for projects and programs
  • Develop and implement planning and scheduling protocols following industry best practices and client requirements
  • Create and monitor baseline schedules, ensuring compliance and effective communication with teams and stakeholders
  • Advise on contractual procedures related to project schedules
  • Manage program-level inter-dependencies and interfaces
  • Conduct schedule risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies


We are looking for candidates with experience in project/program management, design, engineering, and construction, particularly in the water or energy sector.

Prior experience as a Senior Planner/Planning Manager is preferred, with exposure to industry best practices and tools like MS Project or P6 and Excel.

Proficiency in Office 365 and the ability to prepare and present planning outputs for diverse audiences are essential.
