Job Introduction
An opportunity exists to join our excellent Administration team.

You will be based mainly in the School Office with a view to be helping with reception, answering telephones, recording student attendance, maintaining databases and responding to the needs of the school community.


The post is for 37 hours a week during term time, on staff training days and 2 weeks towards the end of the summer holidays.

The normal working hours will be 8am until 4pm Monday to Friday, with half an hour for lunch.

Main Responsibilities
The post holder will provide a range of administrative duties including helping with reception, answering telephones, maintaining databases and responding to the needs of the school community

Essential qualities include:

  • Experience of interaction with students
  • A willingness to undertake relevant training and keep knowledge up to date
  • Effective communication skills
  • Good telephone manner
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Ability to take the initiative
  • The ability to input information accurately
  • Good office skills including Microsoft Office.
