We are currently recruiting to an Adult Consultant Psychiatrist position at Ogura Ward, Goodmayes Hospital, Barley Lane, Ilford, IG3 8XJ.
You will join another full-time Consultant Psychiatrist, 1wte Specialty Doctor, 0.4wte Senior Trainee, 1wte Core Trainees, and 1wte Foundation Year trainee, within the service, and will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work.
ARD is proud of being front runners in its delivery of safe services in the least restrictive way, with well-developed Home Treatment Teams and Crises Services and a small, high quality bed base.
Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to adult people with mental health needs, within the inpatient setting.
Provide senior medical support and guidance to the teamWork directly with adults and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external mental health providers and acute hospitals
Participate in the on-call rota frequency is currently 1:50, with a 3% of basic salary, Category A on-call supplement.
4wte Senior Trainee, 1wte Core Trainees, and 1wte Foundation Year traineeCommit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies.
