IT Apprentice

Salary - £18,081

Are you looking to work for a respected and well known not for profit organisation dedicated to improving healthcare services?

We have an amazing opportunity in Cardiff for an IT Apprentice to work for one of our clients, on a 12-month apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Support the IT Department with ad hoc administrative tasks
• Act as a point of contact in answering the phone and selfservice enquiries that come through to the Service Desk
• Update and log incidents on the Service Desk tool, with the aim of resolving the majority of incidents and requests
• Assist with updating and maintaining the team documentation
• Assist in documenting new business processes and procedures
• Undertake a support role in the introduction of projects
• Assist with resolving technical hardware and software issues and escalate incidents as needed
• Assist with producing statistics for monthly team meetings
• Other duties as deemed reasonable

Skills and Experience

• Good communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Minimum 5 GCSE's or equivalent at grade C or above
• Technical knowledge of IT systems
• Proactive in resolving issues & efficient at solving problems
