£Here at Serco, we are seeking a talented IT Solution Architect to support the execution of IT projects and bids by working with key stakeholders to understand business requirements. Working with key stakeholders (business and IT), you will identify any gaps between business requirements and current IT capabilities, defining solutions to bridge the gaps, ensuring the project scope is maintained, and solutions implemented in line with Serco's architectural principles and the IT strategy for the BU.

You will work closely with clients and business representatives to understand their business needs and design solutions to tackle the IT need of each project or bid.

You must also understand the IT needs of the business as well as the overall impact of proposed solutions to the profitability of the business or bid you're working on.

Work with the IT Project Manager to understand the needs of business and produce designs & solutions for each project.

Provide architectural guidance and design leadership to the project delivery team to ensure delivery is in line with the design.

Ensure solution and service designs are aligned with business needs to support Enterprise Architecture roadmaps and IT strategies.

Practical experience of understanding business requirements, whilst maintaining a knowledge of current and emerging IT technologies.
