Quality and Monitoring Director

Successful applicants will have a clinical psychology qualification, be registered with the Health and Care Professions' Council and have up-to-date knowledge of clinical psychology practice.

# Applicants should have substantial experience of working post-qualification (minimum of five years) and have an enthusiasm for training.
# Applicants will ideally have experience of working on a clinical psychology training programme. The role involves oversight responsibility of the clinical experience strand of the programme but will be expected to participate in the academic and research strands as appropriate. Working directly with the clinical tutors, the post holder will be responsible for placement allocations, quality monitoring and development of the clinical experience of trainees, and co-ordination of supervisor training.
# There is an expectation that the post holder will also engage in research supervision of Doctoral trainees as well as teaching, relevant to the role, experience and areas of clinical expertise.

The Clinical Director will report directly to the Head of Department and have line management responsibility of the clinical tutors on the team.
