Role Overview: We are seeking a UK Education Assessment Director to lead our Assessment strategy, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of our learners and customers with a future-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and management: Lead the Assessment team to maximize their potential in contributing to OCR's development.
  • Assessment strategy & delivery: Develop and implement an assessment strategy that is future-focused and ensures all learners can demonstrate their knowledge and skills.
  • Assessment standards: Ensure assessments are valid, reliable, fair, and accessible.
  • Stakeholder management: Act as the primary contact for regulators and stakeholders, influencing qualifications and assessment policy.

About You: The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the UK education and assessment system, along with experience in evaluative techniques and digital operations. Your leadership skills and strategic thinking will drive the success of our assessment initiatives.
