We are now offering a fantastic opportunity to join the East Riding College in the role of Learning Support Advisors.
About the role
The Inclusion and SEND team are now looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Advisor to join our team.
This is a fast-paced and diverse role, that provides high quality and responsive inclusive learning support to learners with EHCPs and SEND across a wide range of curriculum faculty areas including Foundation and Community, Automotive, Construction and Engineering, Creative and Digital Industries and Service Industries.
Other duties will include:
- To provide a range of learning support interventions such as 1:1, in class and small group support sessions.
- To support in the research, design and implementation of learning support strategies and resources to meet learners needs identified in Individual Learning plans and/or EHCP/SEND support plan.
- To maintain and keep update auditable learners' records using the College management information systems on support provided, learner progression, achievement and needs that are identified in Individual Learning and support plans including against SMART targets and EHCP/SEND outcomes.
- To provide EHCP interim/annual review and/or SEND support plan reports and attend reviews as directed by line manager.
