Customer Complaints Specialist

We are looking for a Customer Complaints Specialist to join our team in a permanent full-time position with hybrid home and office working options available. This is not a fully remote role. At our company, we are dedicated to leading the healthcare insurance market and enhancing wellbeing for all individuals.

  • Investigate escalated complaints and evaluate evidence to determine a fair outcome for customers.
  • Engage with customers, review calls and documents, and refer specialized subject matter, such as medical reports, to the relevant teams for evaluation.
  • If there was an error, you may need to apologize, process a claim, or offer compensation, and you will be responsible for making the appropriate decision.
  • Communicate resolutions to customers over the phone and send follow-up letters to confirm details once investigations are completed.

Required qualifications:

  • Prior experience in handling complaints and familiarity with the Ombudsman Services and industry regulators.
  • Experience in a regulated environment by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), demonstrating proficiency in complaint management and exceptional customer service.
