Defendant EL/PL Fee Earner

An EL/PL Solicitor/Fee Earner is wanted for an excellent opportunity with a Top 50 law firm based in Manchester. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

They are seeking a skilled EL/PL Fee Earner to join their dynamic personal injury team. The ideal candidate will have proven EL/PL Litigation experience and we are happy to consider both Solicitors, Legal Executives and Fee Earners. We are also happy to consider both Defendant and Claimant candidates.

As an EL/PL Fee Earner, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of defendant claims, providing high-quality legal advice to clients, and negotiating settlements on their behalf. This role requires a meticulous approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Case Management: Handle a caseload of defendant EL/PL claims from inception to settlement or litigation.Client Interaction: Engage with clients, providing clear and timely communication about their cases and the legal process.Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations into claims, gathering evidence, and liaising with experts when required.Negotiation: Negotiate settlements with insurers and other parties, aiming for the best possible outcomes for clients.Litigation: Prepare cases for litigation, drafting court documents, and representing clients in court if needed.Compliance: Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical requirements, following firm policies and industry regulations.Team Collaboration: Work closely with other fee earners, paralegals, and legal support staff to ensure seamless case management.There is a highly competitive salary on offer plus a generous benefits package.
