Saint Columb, Cornwall, United Kingdom RSPCA Cornwall Branch Full time
RSPCA Cornwall Branch has recently launched an Animal Welfare Education programme, which has proved extremely popular.

We are now in need of an Assistant to help deliver our education sessions and activities for children and young adults, during maternity leave of another member of the team.

The role involves both assisting the education team and providing cover during education staff absence.

Reporting to the Prevention and Education Manager, this post is
15 hours per week/3 days, working
term-time and is a temporary contract/maternity cover only basis.

It also requires some flexibility to occasionally work evenings and weekends if required.

Most sessions will be held at the Venton Centre (TR9 6JS), but there may also be a need to travel to other local venues, including schools and colleges, so own vehicle is essential.

Usual working hours would be
9.30am to 2.30pm, over 3 days between Monday and Friday, but may vary according to client's preferred session times.

The successful applicant will also need to undergo an enhanced DBS check.

Please note:

Employment in this post is with RSPCA Cornwall Branch, which is a separately registered independent charity working under the umbrella of the National RSPCA.
