Applications are invited for a Band 5 radiographer post at Dr Gray's Hospital, Elgin, which is situated on the south coast of the Moray Firth within an area of outstanding natural beauty. Elgin is situated in the north east of Scotland, 40 miles from Inverness and 70 miles from Aberdeen.

We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals, who wish to join a friendly team of professionals in this busy district general hospital. The department provides a General Radiography service, including 24 hour A&E cover, CT, Dental, Fluoro, DEXA and Ultrasound.

The department provides services to GP's, Orthopaedics, Medical, General Surgery, A&E, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Orthodontics, Theatres and community sites. There are busy outpatient clinics with a number of visiting consultants from Aberdeen and Inverness, as well as the 24/7 emergency service.

Newly qualified graduates/final year students in Diagnostic Radiography are invited to apply.

The department actively encourages professional development, CPD and role development.

The successful candidate will be involved in the department Quality Assurance and Clinical Audit programmes. As part of this role a commitment to the out of hour's imaging service is required.
