Role Purpose:
The Data Science Manager is responsible for developing and implementing advanced analytics and data science models to address a variety of complex business questions.
The main focus of the role is to collaborate with different stakeholders to enhance the understanding of customers, shape the company's future strategies, enhance customer experience, boost engagement, increase revenue, and optimize business operations.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:Take complete ownership of all data science projects within the teamChallenge existing approaches and models to drive continuous improvementLead the creation of new customer behavior models and enhance existing onesDeploy models for use by other analytical teamsDevelop segmentations for marketing and business purposesIdentify new methods to measure the effectiveness of marketing activitiesDeliver complex descriptive and predictive customer analyticsCollaborate with the Analytics Manager to identify opportunities for improvementManage work backlog efficiently using agile practicesStay informed about analytics trends and competitor technologiesSupport the growth of new channels and services through data-driven strategiesEstablish strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organizationEnsure that the organization maximizes the value of data science products

Required Skills & Experience:
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Extensive proficiency in Python or R and strong SQL skills
- Excellent analytical and statistical skills with experience in predictive modeling, segmentation, and time series analysis
- Experience with cloud-based analytical platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, and Google BigQuery
- Track record of deploying data science products
- Experience with workflow tools such as Airflow and Databricks
- Leadership experience in data science teams
- Strong commitment to accuracy and rigor in analysis
- Knowledge of quality assurance and data governance best practices
- Experience with project management tools like Jira/Confluence
