Tradewind are recruiting for a
Learning Support Assistant for a Further Education college in the Trafford area.

The role:

  • Learning Support Assistant (LSA) in the Trafford area.
  • Supporting 1619 year olds receiving extra support through the Inclusion Team.
  • Start ASAP.
  • Full time and long term, could go perm for the right person.
  • Typical hours are 9am3:30pm although there may be some variation and could go up to 4:45pm on some days.
  • Pay up to £13.50/hr depending on experience.
  • You will be supporting a student 1:1 within a small group.
  • The student has Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs, SEMH.
  • You will need to provide academic, pastoral, emotional & behavioural support as well.
  • As the location also has animals, including horses on site, the right person will be someone who doesnt' mind being outdoorsy and around animals at times.
  • Students are in receipt of extra support provided through the college inclusion department.
  • Previous experience as a Learning Mentor, Learning Facilitator, Learning Support Assistant, LSA, Teaching Assistant, SEN Teaching Assistant, Secondary Teaching Assistant, Youth Worker, Pastoral Support Worker, LAC Mentor or Residential Support Worker is required.
