Weekend Day Janitor

ACS are recruiting for an experienced Day Janitor for a hospice site in Cambridge. Hours will be 7am-3.30pm Saturdays and Sundays, and pay starts at £14.50 per hour.

Adult Workforce DBS clearance will be required for the position.


Your main aim will be to replenish all equipment and consumables and ensure all areas are maintained to a very high standard throughout the day.

As part of the core role, you will ensure cleaning cupboards are kept tidy, equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly, and you will follow Health and Safety standards at all times.

Janitorial experience is required, and additional training will be provided. You will need the ability to work independently and use initiative, as part of a wider team. You should be educated to at least National Level 1 eg GCSE.

We expect our team members to have great attention to detail, with good verbal and written communication skills.

We ask you to be smart, reliable and responsible, along with a flexible approach to work, as there will be opportunities for overtime when cover is required.

ACS are a respected professional office and commercial cleaning company with over 25 years industry experience.

Our sites include retail, leisure and event cleaning, general office cleaning, specialist food production cleaning and the equine and racing industry.
