Occupational Therapy Assistant (F/T 12 Months) - Band 2
Exciting opportunity to join a compassionate and aspirational Therapy Team at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, working in the West Berkshire Wheelchair Service.
The role will entail supporting the service with wheelchair stock control, equipment ordering and issuing, supporting the senior OT Assistant to undertake these vital duties to ensure a smooth running of the service. The successful candidate will work with qualified Occupational Therapists, Rehabilitation Engineers, the admin team and other member of the multidisciplinary teams to deliver a high quality service for patients.
In this role you will work in line with the Trust's CARE values to deliver person-centred care to ensure the best outcomes for patients in our care.
Main duties of the job
The role will entail supporting the service with wheelchair stock control, equipment ordering and issuing, supporting the senior OT Assistant to undertake these vital duties to ensure a smooth running of the service. The successful candidate will work with qualified Occupational Therapists, Rehabilitation Engineers, the admin team and other member of the multidisciplinary teams to deliver a high quality service for patients.
