This company are embarking on an exciting transformation project to improve a number of systems and processes and are looking for an enthusiasticand confident individual to join their credit control team.
Your new role
This role is a great opportunity to gain some experience operating in a successful finance team. You will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of clients in regards to all incoming cash collections.
Specifically you will be responsible for:
- Proactively checking invoices have been received correctly
- Taking payments via telephone
- Resolving any invoice queries either at source or directing customers to the appropriate department
- Monitoring credit limits
- Partaking in monthly stakeholder meetings
- Providing basic debt reports
This role will report to a Credit Team Leader and Credit Manager and work alongside a wider credit team of 12.
Exact working patterns can be flexible to suit the right individual andhybrid working will be offered upon a successful training period of up to 3 days working from home.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have a basic understanding of accounting principles or finance.
You must have a strong telephone manner and excellent customer service skills, being confident using the phone to call customers.
You will be available immediately or on shortnotice ad be able to commit to at least a 6 month contract.
You will have strong IT skills and be willing to learn new skills.What you'll get in return
You will receive a competitive base salary or hourly rate equivalent of £23-25,000 per annum + a team performance bonus of up to 25% of your monthly salary.
You will have access to onsite parking and also have the potential opportunity for the contract to bemade permanent.What you need to do now
