The Best Connection is a recruitment agency, and this position is being offered on a temporary basis.

We are looking for Porter in Eastbourne to assist out client.


You will be required to ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to in the building, make sure all the corridors are clean and communal areas are clean.


Daily roles and responsibilities:

  • Collect recycling and rubbish from all flats and empty bins in cellars
  • Ensure drain covers are clear
  • Ensure Incident books and diaries are completed, signed and checked as appropriate
  • Check empty flats for leaks and drainage
  • Change clocks/timers around the site
  • Daily checks of fire escapes. To be recorded in logbooks
  • Ensure all signage is clean and visible. Wash as necessary
  • Record emergency light testing records
(Please be aware your role may not be limited to these tasks)

For this position you will need:

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Experience is not required.
Monday - Friday - 08:30 - 13:30 - Monday to Friday
