This brand new role as Head of HR Operations which will lead on our operational HR activity to ensure that we provide a high quality service to the University.


This is a pivotal role, where you will take responsibility for ensuring that our HR Systems, HR Services and Payroll Services are delivering a progressive, high quality, equitable, and inclusive employment experience for all.

You will do this by ensuring compliance with departmental plans, implementing practices that drive forward new ways of working; including leading the strategic review of our HR System, and providing strong and consistent leadership to your team and the wider HR department.


To be successful, you will have the ability to think at a strategic level, to communicate effectively and develop strong relationships at all levels of the University.

Substantial management experience of working in HR advising on complex HR matters and an ability to inspire confidence in senior leaders are also required.
