About the Senior Quantity Surveyor Position at Keltbray

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor at Keltbray's Civil Engineering Business Unit, you play a crucial role in achieving exceptional commercial outcomes. Working closely with the Commercial team, your responsibilities include project management, commercial reporting, and profit optimization.

Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, you will support the contract delivery team in ensuring profitability, effective cash management, cost control, and accurate reporting across all projects.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Application and credit control process management
  • Costing and forecasting process management
  • Change control system management
  • Project risk management input
  • CTC and CVR management
  • Sub-contract cycle management
  • Provision of commercial advice to the Project Team
  • Building team spirit and trust within the Project Commercial Team and with clients
  • Dispute resolution management
  • Facilitating communications within the Project Commercial Team and with the Project Team
  • Training plans management and tendering process contribution

About You:

  • Degree educated or equivalent
  • Working towards Professional Qualification
  • Extensive post-degree experience in contracting commercial departments, including exposure to multi-disciplined rail projects
  • Familiarity with construction industry contract conditions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
