Global Head of Finance (FD Designate)

International MarCom business

We are recruiting on behalf of a global Marketing & Communications business located in central London. This company connects people, data, and brands to optimise impact for their clients.

What you'll be doing:

As the Global Head of Finance, you will directly report to the Global CFO and senior management team, holding full accountability for managing the global finance function. Overseeing finance teams across the US, UK, Germany, Austria, and France, you'll play a pivotal role during this transitional phase. Adaptability to a dynamic, high-paced environment, coupled with a strong focus on automation and robust financial controls, will be paramount.

In your role as Global Head of Finance, you'll lead the finance team, taking direct charge of day-to-day financial operations, encompassing month-end procedures, cash flow forecasting, audit, financial reporting, and commercial finance. The ideal candidate will excel in navigating fast-paced, ever-evolving environments, continuously striving to enhance automation and fortify financial controls.

What we need you to bring to the business:

  • Fully qualified - ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Leadership background in finance within dynamic, global settings, complemented by overseeing multiple entities.
  • Experience in Foreign Subsidiary Consolidations, Financial Statements, and Forecasts
  • Familiarity with external audit and due diligence requirements
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelling, with significant involvement in ERP Systems implementation
  • Strong time management, organisational, and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for prioritisation and meeting deadlines
  • Proficiency in systems and technical skills, with a drive for process and system automation
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with individuals at all levels internally and externally
  • Experience with Salesforce or Financialforce is advantageous but not mandatory
