Job Summary:
We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide exceptional care and support to individuals in need.
As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities, promoting their well-being, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Duties:
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including the use of mobility aids
- Administer medications according to prescribed instructions
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
- Monitor and document client's health status and report any changes to the supervisor
- Assist with behavior management techniques for clients with challenging behaviors
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in dementia care, home care, or senior care is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
- Compassionate and patient nature
- Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and empathy
- Valid driver's license is a plus
