A leading consultancy firm, is seeking an experienced Director (Macroeconomics) to join its evolving economic advisory team. With opportunities to travel, contribute to building the team and develop the business, they are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment to help the successful candidate grow as an economist.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will have previous consultancy experience, strong quantitative and qualitative skills, and a proven track record in macroeconomic policy. The successful candidate needs to be able to articulate a macroeconomics story, provide expert macroeconomic policy advice to clients, lead on modelling work and drafting, manage teams and projects, be comfortable speaking to ministries and government departments, and assist in the growth and development of the team and the business.

Required Skills
  • BSc and MSc in economics
  • 10+ years' of experience in macroeconomic policy
  • Strong track record of developing client relationships
  • Proven track record in managing teams and projects
  • Experience in developing business and selling services
  • Competitive salary package
