FRONT OF HOUSE TEAM MEMBER


As a Front of House Team Member, you will report to your General Manager and during shift you'll be working closely with the chef team as usually the only front of house team member on duty or with perhaps 1 other.

You will be responsible for serving customers and preparing orders ready for dispatch.

You will be interacting with customers and the drivers so great communication skills and positive attitude are the key You will always be on the move in a busy environment, taking care of customers and be ready to promptly dispatch orders prepared by the chef team.

Your role will also involve minor food prep and keeping the store clean & tidy.


Your working hours will depend on the needs of the business - flexibility will be helpful to the business but we'll try to give to as regular shifts as possible, but we're looking for someone to be able to do 2-3 shifts per week and with the potential to be be required to work daytimes, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

TO GIVE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE

  • Very simply, be really friendly, welcome every customer to the store and make sure they leave happy and with a friendly farewell

TO HELP TO GROW LOYAL CUSTOMER'S BASE AND DRIVE PROFIT IN YOUR SHOP

  • Offer recommendation and suggestions to customers.
  • Respond confidently to any customers questions or enquiries.
  • Know the food and drinks we serve.
  • Keep your knowledge up to date with all special offers and promotions.
  • Ensure all customer complaints are dealt with promptly and effectively.
  • Discuss any delivery issues with Manager on duty.
  • Work with your team to maximise sales opportunities (upsell for take away customers and eliminate mistakes to avoid refunds)
  • Contribute to success of the business by carrying out any reasonable request from Manager on duty.

TO BE A TEAM PLAYER

  • Be helpful and supportive towards to your colleagues and Management team.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with the kitchen and drivers to ensure the orders are processed without any delays.

TO DELIVER HIGH STANDARDS

  • Start your shift always on time, and with a positive attitude.
  • Have a good personal hygiene standard, and always wear a clean uniform.
  • Pack all the food ready to dispatch remembering about all different condiments.
  • Take care of display fridge making sure it is always stocked with fresh products (follow the "FIFO" rule)
  • Prepare all needed sauces and dressings and stock dispatching area; be ready for a busy service (make sure you have enough napkins, bags, chopsticks etc.).
