Part Time Post 15 Hours per week (Service is Mon-Fri 9am-5pm days of work to be agreed upon successful appointment)

Are you interested in joining our Homeless Healthcare Service based in Inverness supporting people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Mental Health Nurse. You will be based in Inverness but have opportunities to work across the Drug and Alcohol Recovery Service providing and promoting care within a variety of settings.

This post requires you to work as part of the wider multidisciplinary team and as an autonomous practitioner. You should possess good interpersonal skills, previous experience working with the Drug and Alcohol Service as well as experience in Mental Health is essential. Excellent organisational skills and time management skills are essential for caseload management along with a full driving licence and use of a car for work purposes.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
