Job Summary

A unique opportunity is available for a permanent position as a Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join the Community Based Neuro Rehab Team (CBNRT) in providing high-quality assessments and rehabilitation for patients in need. We are in search of a dedicated HCPC registered Band 7 Occupational Therapist with exceptional communication skills to deliver specialist Neuro rehabilitation as a valued member of our multidisciplinary team. This role involves working closely with other professionals to treat patients in various community settings.

You will receive ample support and supervision for your caseload, ensuring your professional development is nurtured. The position is based in Reading and requires the candidate to be a car driver.

Main Duties of the Job

The role involves providing specialist Occupational Therapy to adults with Neurological conditions as part of the community neurorehabilitation team. We are looking for individuals with a passion for neurological rehabilitation to join our client-centered service dedicated to excellence in patient management.

Education/Qualifications/Training

Essential

  • Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC Registration
  • Post-graduate training in a relevant clinical speciality

Desirable

  • Formal post-graduate qualification in a relevant area

Previous Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a senior Occupational Therapist
  • Post graduate experience within specialist neurological service
