The duties include all work normally covered by that job title or as otherwise directed by your immediate manager.
In particular, you will carry out the following:
- To deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes, following shop's order forms, on a daily basis.
- To deliver any paperwork and marketing material prepared by the office team to the company's shop on a daily basis
- On occasion, deliver catering directly to customers following routes and time schedule
- To ensure every delivery is received on time
- To receive and process external deliveries
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
- To complete paperwork for the vehicle check and maintenance
- To assist in ensuring a high level of health and safety, cleanliness and food hygiene and to ensure that safe working practices are followed
- To adhere to existing working practices, methods, procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities and to respond positively to new and alternative systems
- To report any problems to the shift leader/ supervisor or to one of the directors
- On performing your duties, exercise them with due diligence and loyalty such knowledge skill and expertise as may be reasonably be expected of a person carrying out such duties
Requirements:
- Valid driving licence
- Polite and hardworking with a cando attitude
- Enthusiastic and motivated
- Exceptionally clean and tidy
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team, willing to learn
Job Types:

Part-time hours: 30 per week

Up to £26,000.00 per year
