To ensure water and water recycling projects across the region are managed successfully from inception to completion, ensuring all required standards, regulations, commercial affordability targets and time frames are met, we are looking for Project Engineers to join the team.

The role of the Project Engineer is to provide technical and commercial expertise to enable the development of the detailed planning and subsequent delivery of capital programmes of work.

The Project Engineer will monitor, review and manage the parcels/projects of work to ensure that high standards of safety, sustainability and cost control are maintained throughout.

In addition, the Project Engineer will identify, manage and escalate risks where necessary to guarantee the best outcome for the business.

Responsible for the enabling activities to facilitate the delivery of planned/emergent capital projects
Ensure solutions are Water and/or Wastewater quality compliant
Completion of Root Cause Analysis
Comply with the corporate Risk and Value process
Ensure standard products and other technical standards (e.g. minimum asset standards) are adhered to

What does it take to be a Project Engineer?
Appropriate engineering qualification or membership of professional body or equivalent experience
Proven technical experience within the relevant environment (Water or Wastewater)
Experience of project planning, delivery and site supervision
Root cause analysis to optionee suitable solutions
Experience of Anglian Water IT systems particularly M2i, SAP and Power Bi
