Due to continued business growth, we are delighted to be recruiting for a Tenant Liaison Officer to join our brilliant Central Resource Management (CRM) team.
To be considered for this role you will live in the Durham area, or in the North East within a 30minute commutable distance to the Durham area.

You'll offer previous experience in a customer service or administration role; either face to face or over the phone and will also communicate confidently and effectively as you will be working closely with our tenants and customers (both in-person and over the phone) as well as a variety of amazing people from across our business.
What will I be doing?
No two days are the same at BES Group. As a Tenant Liaison Officer reporting to the Central Resource Manager – Electrical division, you will be a key member of our CRM team. You'll be working in a busy department within the business and our Engineers and tenants will count on you to book their electrical testing. By doing this, you will help us deliver the highest quality service. On time. Whatever the assignment. Our CRM team members help our Engineers get to where they are needed, when they're needed. That's just our thing Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Working with our tenants to confirm their electrical testing appointments, both in-person and over the phone via both inbound and outbound calls
- Visiting properties to ensure suitable access is available, allowing our Engineers to complete their work on time, every time
- Updating and monitoring contract data, documents and systems to mitigate risks and report this to the Calling Team Supervisor if required
- Sending letters to tenants to confirm appointments
- Monitoring access information from the previous day to rebook missed appointments as swiftly as possible
- Booking in additional work in line with our Engineer's available capacity
- Reporting any concerns/positive feedback to the Central Resource Manager
- Managing customer complaints over the telephone and reporting any concerns/issues to the relevant Contract Managers
- Using your fantastic problem-solving skills to ensure that we are as efficient as we can be
- Working with the wider planning team to prioritise and organise urgent works as needed
- Any additional or ad-hoc duties as required

What experience do I need?
Our team consists of the best Central Resource team members, we should know, we trained them You don't need heaps of experience, just the right attitude, aptitude and appetite for what we do. You'll also:
- Offer previous experience in a customer service or administration role; either face to face or over the phone
- Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
- The ability to build strong internal and external relationships
- The confidence to have difficult conversations, deal with complaints or resolve conflict
- An adaptable and empathetic approach, to ensure the highest quality service is delivered for tenants who require extra care or attention.
- Good IT skills and the ability to use online systems and Microsoft Office/Google applications confidently (experience using Google Sheets is an advantage)
- Have lots of enthusiasm to deliver a refreshing customer experience, every time
- The ability to build strong internal and external relationships
- Strong organisation skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads under pressure to meet deadlines
- Problem solving skills and the ability to use own initiative
- An aptitude for systems and processes and ability to learn swiftly
- Have excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to working
- Self-motivated, proactive and driven to deliver
- The ability to work independently and remotely, as well as working as part of a team
- Do what you say you will do; Talk to anyone in our team from engineers to our back office team and we're always open and honest
- Be reliable; There's something about being dependable that we all think matters
You will also have:
- Access to your own vehicle and a full UK driving license
- Be comfortable attending our Preston office for initial training, and occasionally beyond this as required
