Maintaining the FT tone of voice and benefiting from newsroom audience engagement data, FT Studio produces content that sits naturally within the newspaper's editorial environment.
The role
FT Studios is looking for a detail-oriented Webpage Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the highest quality in our webpage builds before they go live. This position is a 6-month FTC , with the term beginning from your start date.
- Conduct thorough QA tests on all website builds, identifying issues related to design, content, and functionality.
- Work closely with the production, development and design teams to report and troubleshoot issues.
- Validate that all elements on the webpage meet accessibility and SEO guidelines.
- Maintain detailed documentation of QA processes and issues identified, including steps to reproduce and the status of fixes.
- Assist in developing and implementing QA testing processes and best practices to enhance the quality of web builds.
What we are looking for
The necessary skills and expertise for this role are:
- Proven experience in website quality assurance or a similar role.
- Familiarity with web development processes and the ability to work closely with developers and designers.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of web standards, accessibility guidelines (WCAG and APCA), and SEO principles.
- A good understanding of Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
