Copello Global is collaborating with a defence manufacturing firm based in Hampshire, currently in search of an Electrical Engineer to join their team.


Key responsibilities for this role encompass:

  • Electrical design of products in adherence to customer and regulatory standards.
  • Experience serving as a Design Authority.
  • Ensuring that the company's product design and development endeavours meet quality (precision), timing (punctuality), and financial (budgetary) objectives.
  • Upholding professional standards throughout projects and furnishing guidance to fellow Engineers and staff on matters concerning Electrical/Electronic design, development, validation, and production aligned with pertinent standards.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive grasp of relevant technologies, with a specific focus on Electrical Engineering encompassing both commercial and rugged equipment.
  • Providing technical assistance to other departments regarding the design facets of new business ventures and furnishing requisite documentation as needed.
  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in electronic and electrical design within the industry.
  • Proficiency in utilising Solidworks.
  • Aptitude in composing and reviewing detailed technical design documentation.
  • A degree-level qualification in an Engineering discipline would be advantageous.
