Working as part of a small friendly team, assisting a charming young man with complex health needs that include cerebral palsy and diabetes.

The support is 2-1 so you will always work alongside another personal assistant.

You will provide personal care and supporting him to access activities within his own home and the wider community. i.e. swimming, adapted cycling, lots of outdoor walking in his wheelchair, sharing books, games and other activities in the home.

Full clean driving licence.

Non-smoker.

Someone who enjoys being outdoors and is physically fit.

Experience preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided.

We're looking for someone who enjoys spending time with others and likes getting out and about.


You will work 23 hours per week, the regular hours are worked over Monday to Thursday, but we do require someone flexibly to cover occasionally over the weekend or overnight.
