Job Summary

The Bladder and Bowel team is seeking a Health Care Assistant to join the community multi-disciplinary team in Brighton & Hove and High Weald, Lewes & Havens, providing essential care.

We are in search of an individual with strong organizational and communication skills, capable of working independently and following directions - dedication to personalized care is a must. While holding an NVQ in healthcare is advantageous, lack of formal qualification should not deter you. Your experiential learning and willingness to grow are highly valued.

Main Duties of the Job

Bladder and Bowel service encompasses a multidisciplinary team offering interventions to improve health outcomes for patients with bladder and bowel conditions. The team enhances skills and knowledge within SCFT by promoting joint work and education.

Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and own a vehicle with business insurance.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver healthcare to patients in the community under supervision, carrying out assessments, providing care, and reporting patient status changes. Additionally, provide administrative support to the diabetes team.

Qualifications and/or Professional Registration

Essential

  • Good standard of education
  • NVQ Level III in Health Care or relevant experience

Experience

Essential

  • Minimum 12 months of experience in a caring environment, be it health, social, or voluntary services
  • Basic numeracy and report-writing abilities
