Civil EngineerLocation: UK wide (Worcester Head Office)Salary: Circa £45k - £50k plus company car (Ford Ranger pickup truck)This is homebased role travelling to sites across the UK and 1 day a week at the Worcester head office.A civil engineering company who specialises in flood defence are now looking for a Civil Engineering to join their team.Purpose of Role – Civil EngineerYou will:
- Propose and develop detailed designs.
- Undertake feasibility assessments and site inspections.
- Prepare and implement project plans.
- Research and provide estimates for projects.
- Monitor and optimise safety procedures, production processes, and regulatory compliance.
- Make recommendations and / or present alternative solutions to problems.
- Project management duties (e.g. managing budgets, resources, and deadlines; acquiring and compiling quotes, setting programs and control of project accounts etc.).
- Ideally be degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Structural or similar but not essential.
- Industry experience in Earthworks, ground support, reinforced concrete projects in the Water sector
- Strong design software skills, such as Solidworks, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MicroStation for permanent and temporary works solutions
