Salary: Dependent on Experience/£120- £140 per day

Start Date: September 2024 (immediate starts are possible)



Are you an experienced teacher seeking a flexible teaching role in Bournemouth? GSL Education are currently hiring dedicated individuals who are interested in Casual Supply work in local primary schools.

As a Casual Supply Teacher, you will be filling in for teachers when they are absent. The schools that GSL Education work with are very welcoming and have a helpful staff community, who are all committed to providing high-quality teaching and learning to pupils in their care. The schools are inclusive mainstream primary schools with pupils displaying varying learning styles and needs, including pupils where English is an additional language. Support is often required for pupils who have social, emotional and behavioural needs, therefore any prior experience working with pupils with SEN is desirable.

Although this position is ideal for a teacher seeking flexible work, there may be scope for full-time permanent positions if this is something that interests you in the future.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Appropriate teaching qualifications and current teacher registration.

  3. Adaptability and flexibility to excel in various classroom settings.

Any teachers interested in this opportunity are required to:

  • Hold a PGCE /QTS
  • Be confident within their behaviour management skills and be able to adapt to different school's behaviour policies
  • Be prepared to cover a range of subjects and year groups across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2

To work with GSL Education as a Supply teacher, you should:

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
