Playing a key part in our drive to bring environmental and social prosperity to the region we serve through our commitment to Love Every Drop are the Integrated Maintenance and Repair Water Recycling Alliance (IMR WRA) who are key to delivering sustainable solutions.

Comprising of Anglian Water, Clancy , Claret Civil Engineering, Public Sewer Services and Danaher & Walsh, the IMR WRA manages planned and emergency sewer, rising mains and SMART technology installation as well as maintenance and repair across the region.

With the IMR WRA growing in size and profile, there are a host of transformational and change projects and activities which are required to drive key business strategy and objectives.

What will you be doing as a Project Technical Co-Ordinator?

The Project Technical Coordinator will assist the Project Manager to manage the delivery of programmes of work, ensuring commercial viability whilst complying with all relevant statutory requirements and company policies. You will also assist the Programme Manager with Parcel Close-Down activities when required.

Whilst doing this, you will be required to deliver excellent customer service and will be passionate about avoiding any adverse effects on the environment, customers, associated networks and downstream treatment processes.

Key elements of the role will be, Support and deliver planned work to infrastructure assets, collaborating with the WR network and Maintenance colleagues, managing key delivery stakeholders in the alliance as well as other external organisations e.g. Savills, ensuring that the teams delivering the programme activity are effective and efficient with as little disruption to customers and the wider general public, Lead H&S and CDM compliance within delivery projects.

Key responsibilities:

Coordinate the efficient delivery of the programme of works Develop key plans for H&S/CDM and generate Impact Plans Ensure that the planned programme is carried out safely and effectively, whilst meeting all regulatory, requirements and avoiding adverse effects on downstream treatment processes. Whilst working on behalf of the asset owner for sewers, collaborate and support network colleagues to aid effective operations, pre and post intervention. Customer liaison and customer service including customer issue resolution when appropriate. Work closely with Partner delivery teams, contractors and wider AW teams such as Systems Planners, Networks, M&E and Treatment Proactively inform customers of the programmed work and respond to customer concerns/complaints relating to Water Recycling Networks to resolve any dissatisfaction (both internal and external). Assist the Programme Manager with managing the end of year parcel close-down activities when required, moving the parcels between Delivery Milestone stages. This will require knowledge of both SAP and TDW systems.

A little about your skills and behaviours

Education to GCSE C or equivalent Excellent Communication skills at all levels Experience of H&S and CDM legislation and its application in the workplace. Dealing with customers (internal and external) Proven Anglian Water technical experience e.g. Impact Plan writing, H&S documentation Knowledge of the operation of water recycling collection infrastructure. Basic understanding of the regulatory processes that govern AW's capital investment strategy Knowledge of IMR Procedures and Policies
