Vetro Education is looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join SEN Schools in Merthyr Tydfil Local Education Authority starting September 2024. The school supports learners with ASD, PDA, Global Delay Disorder, and challenging behavior. They seek a SEN Teacher experienced in these areas in or around Merthyr Tydfil.

Teachers available for full-time or part-time roles are of interest to the school.

Job Details:
  • Title: SEN Teacher
  • Pay: £157.66 minimum per day
  • Location: Merthyr Tydfil
  • Hours: Ad Hoc, Short Term, Long Term - Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Role Overview:
  • Teaching learners with special needs
  • Setting up the classroom daily
  • Planning lessons and schemes of work
  • Implementing behavior management strategies
  • Teaching in line with the national curriculum
  • Assisting learners during breaks
  • Engaging with parents
Requirements:
  • Minimum 12 months teaching experience
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council
  • Recent references
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
  • Right to work in the UK
