As the **Insurance Officer** at **Wandle**, you will play a crucial role in coordinating all insurance-related risks within the organization. Your responsibilities will include managing the insurance procurement process, claims handling, and enhancing risk awareness throughout the business.
A day in the life:
You will:
- Assist in procuring insurance services, including tendering and negotiating agreements
- Manage relationships with insurers, brokers, and consultants
- Ensure optimal insurance coverage and timely claims management
- Collaborate with various departments to handle property, liability, and other claims effectively
- Act as the primary contact for all insurance-related queries and notifications
- Support in improving performance and teamwork by promoting training and engagement
What you'll need:
- Degree or relevant professional qualification
- Membership of legal body and/or CII
- Evidence of continuous professional development
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Experience in insurance matters within property, housing, or motor environment
- Ability to manage projects within budget and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and Treasury Management Systems
- Experience in maintaining spreadsheets and generating reports
