Team: Community Mental Health Team - South

The Role

The Adult Community Mental Health Team has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to apply for this role with Bolton Council.

The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and development of an integrated, dynamic and friendly Community Mental Health Team in Bolton. The post holder will lead and manage the multi-disciplinary team covering the Bolton area and also act as professional lead within the team for Social Workers, working with the Head of Mental Health Social Work to maintain and further develop professional leadership and supervision within the service.

The post holder will ensure the full implementation of the Care Act 2014, the Mental Capacity Act and the Care Programme Approach. Take responsibility for ensuring all staff within the multi-disciplinary team receive regular supervision and appraisals.

Maintaining practice and standards of work consistent with the requirements of the Local Authority, Greater Manchester Mental Health Trust and other partnership bodies.

You should be able to work flexibility, be creative, resilient and demonstrate clear leadership skills. You should be able to support, lead and motivate the team in achieving the best outcomes for service users and their carers'.
