Descrizione ruolo:

Doveri e responsabilità:

  • Drive sales to meet contracted ABS targets for target markets: GB, Northern Ireland, Italy, France
  • Support the retention of existing business and win new business by demonstrating the value of ABS HYVIG genetic solutions.
  • Undertake visits to key accounts, valued customers and prospects to:
  • Define, validate, plan and deliver maximum genetic progress aligned to ABS value proposition; this includes working with genetics services to prepare and delivering in-depth genetic reviews to demonstrate the value of HYVIG genetics as a crossbreeding, tailored solution.
  • Understand and identify opportunities for ABS to deliver value to customers based on their herd circumstances and market trends.
  • Provide crossbreeding specialist genetic guidance to colleagues and customers with a focus on customer profitability and satisfaction.
  • Deliver internal knowledge transfer and learning and development to enhance ABS core capabilities across sales and marketing teams.
  • Work as 'One Team', become a trusted partner of account managers and colleagues, using knowledge of how own role and related teams can impact achievement of objectives and builds influencing capabilities to succeed.
  • Establish and maintain links with key industry partners to maximise business growth opportunities for the business and customers.
  • Uphold the Genus core values, mission and vision.
  • May be required to work on responsibilities outside of normal business hours.
  • Perform other projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Requisiti:

Basic Qualifications:
(required)


  • Higher education agriculture sectorbased qualification with genetic specialism preferred
  • Demonstrable experience of working within the agriculture industry harnessing genetic expertise preferred
  • Developed level knowledge of genetics, dairy management, technology and data management solutions
  • Experience working within EMEA agriculture e.g. In dairy production or herd management, or other commercial livestock production
  • Ability to work with autonomy to make decisions
  • Full driving license
  • Authorized to work in the UK without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Second language beneficial
  • Understanding and passion for crossbreeding, genetic improvement technologies and processes is preferred
  • Positive attitude to change and demonstrative desire to learn
