Our Client in the Belfast area have a requirement for a Print Finishing operator to join their team on a full time permanent basis.

Excellent salary available depending on experience

Duties include:

  • Follow and review work schedule of jobs to ensure customer specifications and deadlines are met.
  • Operate a number of finishing lines including Omega die cut, Prati Saturns, Rotoflex etc to finish printed rolls to specific roll sizes and quantities specified in the customer specifications (training will be given on each)
  • Ensure all relevant paperwork is filled in correctly for each job
  • Ensure finishing and packing are of the highest quality
  • Remove finished or prefinished material from finishing line for next operation as per line clearance.
  • Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance on machines, including cleaning, changing blades, and cleaning of belts and rollers.
  • Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain housekeeping standards. Adhere to shop floor procedures (SOPs).
  • Assist in other finishing operations as needed.

The person:

  • Previous finishing experience desirable but not essential
  • Must have good I.T skills.
  • Must have good organisational skills
  • Exceptional problemsolving skills.
  • General knowledge of finishing
  • Must be mechanically inclined.
  • Must be focused driven and able to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
