About the Role:

An engineering teacher plays a crucial role in shaping the next generation of engineers. Their responsibilities extend beyond mere instruction in technical subjects; they are integral to fostering a learning environment that promotes innovation, critical thinking, and practical application of engineering principles. At now, GSL Education is in search of an Engineering Teacher to fill a post at one of our client schools in Barnsley.

Role of a Engineering Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective engineering lessons to students at various educational levels.
• Develop and implement curriculum that meets national standards and school requirements.
• Foster a stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for engineering.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and contribute to the school's mission.

The successful candidate will:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching engineering or related subjects, preferably within a secondary school setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
• Enthusiasm for inspiring young minds and fostering a love for engineering.
